teacher's day

yesterday was teacher's day
supposed to be a happy day for all teachers
but it wasn't the case for my sec sch teacher

her husband passed away yesterday morning
he was only in his early thirties
when he died from cancer
he was an outstanding police officer
and just got promoted to inspector 3 months ago
and now he'd left us

went for the wake yty evening with the sj people
she looked so qiao cui
when she brought us to see her husband
she started crying
i understand how she feels
she really needs our support now
the sad thing is
she became a widow at such a young age
and she has a daughter who is only 7 years old this year
i seriously don't know how she and her daughter are going to get over it
and the even sadder thing is
this has to happen on teacher's day
so every year when all the teachers are celebrating teacher's day
she will be reminded of her husband's death anniversary
the only good thing is
her husband is a christian
and i know that he'll be in good hands

OMG my friend just told me that
her p6 chinese teacher contracted cancer too
why are all thses things happening?
life's so unpredictable and fragile
so learn how to cherish and treasure all those people around you NOW
before you REGRET it

today was celebration for teachers' day
had ACES day exercise early in the morning
mm shall not comment about it
then came the concert part
i really really enjoyed it
especially the performance put up by the RG band and Raffles Dance

hahah after that cabbed down to AHS
it was damn expensive larrs
13 plus bucks i think
luckily no need to pay
my friend paid for it
damn nice larrs

in the end reached AHS at around 10.30am
went to eat chicken rice
i miss it so much larrs
the standard still the same as before
not bad not bad
then slacked for quite some time in the canteen
crapped with my friends
waited for mj people to come back
then went to look for our teachers together as a class

so cool right?

went to look for our sec4 teachers
gave them presents and took picture with them
haix didn't manage to find one teacher
because he's having re-service now :(

okay after that wanted to go airport mug
but went for squad outing instead
got xinhui joyce yuanling melvin harris and weisong
darling didnt join us because got camp :(

went city hall
wanted to watch the movie Hairspray
but end up didn't watch it because it starts very late
so in the end went LJS to eat and talk
discovered two shocking news
one of which i felt uncomfortable with
never mind shall not comment about it
okay then we continued to talk crap
until around 5 plus then we left

then in the mrt station we were laughing like mad
because harris was wearing a black and white stripe shirt
then we noticed another girl wearing a similar shirt
so we teased him calling him to go up to her and make friends with her
then consequently we saw many many many people with that stripe shirt
couldn't help laughing non-stop
think the people on the train was staring at us lorhs
then in the end harris made a funny comment
"today's holiday for the prisoners"
LOL!
all the way from city hall to tampines
weisong kept looking out for those who wear shirts with stripe
really got alot lorhs
maybe now the trend is to wear such striped shirts

hahah really enjoyed myself today alot

Befrienders' meeting 2

was late today
reached MPH at around 8.45am?
luckily havent start
marked attendance and waited for awhile
then they started off with some briefing stuff
then gave us a 20mins break
and we're supposed to find ourselves a dance partner of the opposite sex by the end of break
oh man!
it was really hard
but nvm in the end danced with xtin's friend
he damn nice
know how to lead sia

the dancing part was very fun but tiring
cause we danced for two hours continuously
not bad larrs
learnt the entire dance in two hours

then was bored so went to borrow books to read

yay! today's saturday! a long weekend for us rjc students. heheh but i think i'm gonna spend my weekend chionging my dvd. it's freaking nice omg. kinda hooked on to it. i think i must prepare a box of tissue in front of me whenever i watch the show. i think i'm too emotional alrd. everytime cry so easily. btw yesterday had kick-boxing for PE. hahaa it's VERY FUN although it's very tiring. it's non-stop please. the instructor damn funny. keep making us laugh. hahah. anws our PW group is so dead. 1st draft of written report is due in like two weeks? oh my gosh. hafta meet up this weekend lorhs. most prob tmr. chiong arr. shall try to finish everything in one day? hopefully can larrs. alright shall go ans watch my dvd alrd (:

hahah went swimming with my friend today @ tampines swimming complex
met her @ 5pm then went in
she was quite amazed by the new facilities after renovation
went with her to change into her swimming suit
and stuff all our valuables into the locker

started off with the 'medium' pool first
cause she wasnt really familiar with swimming
refresh her memory on the frog style
taught her how to coordinate breathing hands and legs movement
okie spent some time there
then moved on to the 'competition pool' according to what my friend calls it

okie swam by the side of the pool
progressively of course
but she couldnt swim one lap continuously cause of out breath
so always stop halfway

SOMETHING HAPPEN

okie then went back to the medium pool and swim awhile more
then played the slide and mushroom!
got another fountain

okie walked to Marina Square
went to LJS to eat lunch since we are all kinda broke and very hungry
took pictures there and went off to look at some clothes
then wanted to go bowling but no lane available at that moment
so decided to go pooling
then yuan joined us
hahah we played for two hours in total

in the end all late except for me and lucas the easterners who reach at arnd 9.57am!

okie then we took bus 31 to marine parade there
we were told by the bus driver to alight at a particular stop and walk
then my intuition told me is walk left but the rest insist on the right

hahah ok i'm here to blog. after sleeping for like 2hours? hahah i seriously think i am a pig. love sleeping sooo much. lol. since yty i didn't blog, i shall blog abt it now.

Yesterday
ok it was a bad day for me. lessons supposed to end at like 1.25pm. but our chem teacher had some last words for us and haven't finish going through the tutorial qns so had to stay back for awhile. but i had to meet someone at j8! omg. i was panicking and wasn't really concentrating during her lesson. the moment we say finish thank you to her, i straight away rushed off. ran down 5 storeys. doubled my normal walking speed. luckily in the end i was late for only 10mins. okayy. then walked around with my friend before going for lunch. i was famished by then. ok another sad part came. because the queue was sooo long that i waited for like 20mins for my food? was eating halfway when mabel suddenly called me to ask whether i've checked the board for the timing and venue for Bio Olympiad. i said nope and then she went to check and called me back.
Mabel: "Hello Ho Yan, it's at 3.30pm @ LT5."
me: "Hahah ok. When?"
Mabel: "Later."
(me looked at the time on my handphone-- 3.11pm)
me: "WHAT?! later?"

OMG! can imagine i quickly finished up the food and left j8 at like 3.15pm. this time i tripled my normal walking speed and chiong back to school. luckily just nice 3.28pm i reached LT5. by then everyone was seated so i jus sat down at the back. DRIP DRIP DRIP. i was like sweating profusely can? then 1min later the teacher said "ok you all may start. you all have exactly one hour". i flipped through the paper and was shocked! 60MCQs in 1hr? which means 1MCQ 1 min! omg. then my mechanical pencil was screwed up. then i wasted some time trying to fix it as i don't have other pencil =( ok. it was damn hard i hardly studied them before. finally it was over. for majority of the qns, i anyhow choose one. die. don't even think i can score 20%? YES. it's sooo hard to that extent. (for me) after that i chiong off to soccer match support. left sch at 4.30pm. was kinda late by the time me and my frens reach. it started for awhile alrd. when we entered the stadium we were like WHOA.! a sea of blues (Meridian). we quickly walked past them and went to sit down near the rj side. anws was sooo touched. cause my darling saw me walking from far and went to welcome me. sat with us thru out somemore. thanks darr! ;)

ok. me and darr was like screaming and YES-ing all the way. rj scored one goal and continued to defend that goal all the way till the end. mj fought well also. they tried their best to attack. however whenever the ball was nearing our goalpost, our soccer player would header the ball off. CHEERS! at that very moment when the referee blew the whistle for time's up, all the rj players was relieved! yes rj secured the championship. all the rj supporters were sooo proud of them and kept cheering loudly. after which was the price presentation and singing of the college anthem. all the rj ppl sang it with pride! yty was ownage for rj. soccer. hockey. badminton. yeah man!

ok then went home. saw lotsa of my pri and sec sch fwens there. took mrt home and reached home at 8pm. watched tv from 8-10pm. then went to sleep. was so tired.

Today
had maths tutorial then PE. played ultimate frisbee for PE under the scorching hot sun. was very tired initially but after PE i was much more awake and energetic. had bio and chem lecture. then it was lili's turn to say that she very sleepy. hahah! PW! consulted our tutor on survey and interview qns and event. seriously our group must really sit down and think about the event alrd. is like.? we aren't even sure of what to do? went canteen to have lunch then went for soccer match support. but left like QUITE SOON after i reach? have to go back. missed a chance to support and meet my fren. anyway. basketball girls lost to VJ by 3points! 50-53. sad. my fren from mj and vj was like so happy because RJ finally lost in smth? and vj won? whatever. one game nia. oh results for girls soccer match vs TJ. WE WON! 1-0. yay! well done girls. SAJC was the champion, VJC first runners-up, RJC second runners-up and TJC third runners-up. okay larrs not so bad. i think the baskerballers even more sad. lose out by 3points! sooo near to clinching the championship larrs! haix.

yay! the holidays are finally here. happy and yet sad at the same time. monday. mugging day at airport. sooo looking forward to it. shun bian send my fren off. miss her sia. ok shall go eat my dinner.

wads de damn freaking use of studying so hard lo. my english compre i failed lo. upon 50 i only got 24. pathetic lei. dis is de 2nd time i fail mny test in my whole life lo. wa lau. den de physics test though mr lee haven start marking our class but i noe i wun do well la. dunno wad happening lo. recently all my test i do so badly.

den today is social studies source-based qns. wad de lo. i read de qns before yty but i forgot how to answer cuz yty i was half-asleep when reading. no choice ma. sick sure very tired de. den today de test i die lo. anihow answer den get all wrong. no hope le. sure kena killed by ms arfah de.

den thruout the test i was like havingf a running nose la. den i not enuff tissue. cannot tok ma rite? so use my one and only tissue block my nose. haix. so torturous lo.

haha. k la. noe dat i very lazy. shall blog abt more recent things. but aniwae de beijing trip rawks. hmm. ya okie. erm on 26th nov which is like two days ago it was the farewell party for the sec 4s. den our sqd went to buy some roses and had our lunch b4 going sch. by the time we reached it was 12.02? cuz we late den we sorta chiong up. hrhr. den the firs thing we did was to put down our bags and den went up to the noticeboard and look at our new classes. i scanned for my name among all de lists and i saw it. 3J!!! wad de?! i dun lyk it lei. i wanna 3K or 3L de lo. haix. i so angry and was complaining abt it. jiu er jiu zhi den i started to accept it. but still abt bu shuang la.

haix den we went to blow balloons and tie them up and form a overhead thingy to welcome de sec 4s. we den started to carry de canteen tables and benches until we so sian and tired lo. esp our hands so suan. we carried them to the parade square and formed a stage and covered the top with cardboards and taped them together. after dat we changed into our costumes and the usherers started setting out to usher the sec 4s in. we saw them being blindfolded in. then one by one. they went in upon hearing their names are being called. wa. de gurls are so chio and de guys are so handsome man. oops. den the sit at the designed places and ya. de emcees started their speech la. blah blah blah.

dinner first and den performance time. sqd 2 first and ya we followed them dacne de upside-down song. den it was our turn. we tried our best and presented de best for the sec 4s. er den ya. it was de sec4s turn to play a game. muz pass food in a spoon from one another down de queue. so exciting lo. ya den was a division game. each person have two pegs. divided into two grps. sec1s and 2s one grps while sec 4s and mdms and sirs another grp. we run around de parade square catching each other to peg on their shirts. haha. hmm den the squad 4s performed. wow their performance was fun man.

ehh. den was squad interaction time witht the sqd ICs. sihui and evelyn mdm. they tok abt the past things and i ren bu zhu cried le. joyce too. in the end when we take photos i cant even smile lo. haix. so sad to see them leave. time passes real fast. hmm. den we gathered together and sang songs lo. but i hafta leave early. so i and pin ru left at 10.20. eey when we walk down de road it was so quiet lo. so scary. haix. ya den when i board de train i saw someoenne. he so shocked dio lo. haha. den ya. i went home and i bathed den BIONG! i lied flat on my bed and slept.

de next morning i waked up @ 5am. wore my full-u and out to tampines mrt station. in de end i realiesed dat i forgot to bring my u-cover. i called mi mum bring lo. my mum was like kena pissed off. so early lo pls. in de end we were like sorta getting late. so when we reached lavender mrt staion we chiong all de way. in de end we took 4 mins to reah HQ. but the thing is. when we reached we received de enws dat it is 8 o'clock start and not 7.15 lo. den we were dlike peng-ing lo. ya but however we din use de u-cover at all lo. dats de most infuriating part. haix. wa de mdms dere so strict with us. very sian la. wad opening ceremony and stuffs, after lunch was theory all de way lo. so damn sian. ome ppl even slept halfway lo. haha. i waas going to sleep too but i din. luckily. haha.

in short it was such a mental torture to us la. all of us cant wait for the day to end lo. haha. when de time came. all of us were so happy. upon releasing we rushed to the toilet. haha. in the end we went to tm de foodcourt and have our dinner. den we went to take neoprints. ya. very fun all de way. except during de course. i dun wanna go animore. but wad can i do?

*what the* i am seriously telling you all dis. ahs sucks. first the prizes so stingy. top 3 in levels and subjects oso no trophies only a stupid cert. today received a bad news. i act. got into trip science and elect geog de lo. den today the mrs lai called some of us out den say wad wan to transfer us to lit stream. i was not present but mi fren told me. pls lo. my lit is lyk 68 and my geog is 75 lo. they dun have a reason to put me in lit stream though it is in one of my choice. i dun care. i'm going to appeal lo. she call us to consider. then after reconsidering mi fren help me to say NO as they knew dat i hated lit. but u noe wad she say? what the! then wad for she give us a chance to consider? might as well straight away put us in la! so angry lo. oso if is the case den wad's de use of option form. how can force ppl de lo? i now reli very angry and sad. i seriously dun wanna get into lit stream de. i hate lit! i cant score well in lit! i would rather history lo. at least i can score better. now i reli wan to cry out lei. i cant stand it already. it is driving me mad. i tink i gonna have sleepless nights until next wednesday man. in short. hmph. today is 22nd october rite? haix. dis morning i had nth to do at home. no sch today cuz of the sec 4 grad thingy. den the sec 3s went sch for checking papers at witness de grad ceremony. den i went back sch juz to hand in my edusave form and den rushed home to change before meeting mi fren @ centre point. hmm. shall tok abt it later. now my legs very pain and hands very suan man.
let's tok abt my hands first. erm on dis wednesday which was two days ago, majority of my class went for the bowling course. den mine was roller blading but dat day i nth to do ma so pei them go ECP dere de leisure bowl dere lo. their course starts at 3.15 liddat den i sat tog with them and listened to the instructor's crap, looked at them play and stuffs. den after the course, some boys and many girls esp from our class stayed back to bowl lo. den i cant resist the tempation thus joined to play too. we played many games and it was lyk so fun lo. i tink i got 2 times strike but hor the machine kuku nadan de. one time i strike den it go say i only hit 9 pins. hmph! saddist lo. mi fren ying ying ah. very pro lo. highest among us. 100 points ba. hmm den we play until 8 plus den i had to leave though i reli cant bearv to leave dere. wanted to play some more man. let's see. i tink i spent 10 plus dollars dere le? ya. should be. took cab home and reached at around near to 9. bathed and den watched tv until 9.19. den mi mum call me switch off the tv. after dat den i slept le. early hor?

what's wrong with me? wad happen to me? possessed or waD? why everything i do oso doesn't go smooth for me ne? haix. especially this period of time. is the end-of-year exam lei. it's so crucial to me at this time and it doesn't go well for me.. first paper geog. many qns got the answer dere i kok-eye den write another one. wrong already. den maths still ok but got careless mistake. den science like wad i say was a killer paper man. so obviously no hope le la. den today elit. though i dun pin much hope to score well for dat, but at least muz get an A? or B3 oso can. but now i tink no hope le. if i can pass i happy lo. i tink i'm de stupidest person on the whole world man. i did the unseen poem for Section B. the first glance at it i thot it was very easy. do do do. den exam over le. i still tot i can score quite high cuz it's very easy. but i met a fren from the other class. he told me dat he minus the whole qns marks le. den i still dunno den i ask him where and why. den after he say, i the whole person stunned dio. i actually made de same mistake as him lo. de whole poem involve a kid and an adult which is two different person. guess what? my goodness gosh. i tot de adult is the security's imagination of wad the kid will be like when she grows up. stupid rite? i oso tink so. i was so shocked. 25 marks upon 75 juz gone liddat. isnt it sad? i stayed in school for a while and my frens were like calling me not to be sad. but how can i not sad lo. but i still force out a smile. trying to forget abt it. den i and my fren took a taxi home. since i have no mood to take the bus. a long journey lo. i was lyk.. keep brooding over it in the taxi? den i tink even kelly got irritated or frustrated by dat. she herself was not feeling dat well and wanted to *****. so.. haix. after i reach home, i lie on my bed. mi mum and bro was consoling me lo. but i dunno why the tears juz gushed out of my eyes. cried for i tink 20 mins? or more den dat? i dunno la. din wan to tink of dat anymore at dat time. i was trying to forget by watching tv and sleeping. but when i was sleeping i rmb it again. den i cried again. den i sms mi good fren and tok to him abt it. he consoled mi oso. thnx whoever de person is. haix. den now i blogging lo. tmr dnt. nth much to study. later on at nire den i study. anyway no mood. aniwae. people. my dear frenx. if dese few days i ignore u all or dun tok to u all or ath, pardon me hor. i juz cant get over it la. i juz hope dat i will do well for other subjects to pull me up lo. i juz wan to get top 10 den i happy le. haix.

haix. die already la. there goes my hope of getting into triple science. pengx lo. todays science was so difficult. killer paper sia. what makes me even angry is dat there's one question on physics de. the whole question was like separated into 5 parts. a, b, c, d, e. then if de first part wrong the whole thign is wrong. the question is worth 10 marks lei. 10 marks!!! all of us have got different answer for dat. though i got the same answer as mi fren who is very smart, but we may make mistakes oso ma. three other i ask, they got the same answer but different from mine. haix. if dat question wrong ah, i minus 25 marks from MCQ and section C le. now haven include section B already liddat le. if include section B le.. how? i cant imagine how much i get sia. dun even noe whether i can pass lo. but i confirm noe dat, if based on this paper, i cant get into triple science le lo. triple science. bye bye! bio chem, here i comes!!! boo :'( but my mum so encouraging. she say dat nvm. other tests like the common test can pull me up. but i still tink dat it wun pull me up dat much lo. the end-of-year takes up the highest percentage lo. haix. i very sad lo. first was my geog. but i tink nvm cuz it does not affect me dat much to get into triple science juz dat if i wan geog. den maths make me very happy. now science liddat. haix. no hope le la. dampen my spirits. still study wad sai lo. flunk all subjects better la. already no mood. where can get good results for the other subject. after exams still go out. where got mood sia. oso mi fren say she got council meeting maybbe join us later on friday itself. but i was thinking. if i reli no mood den she concentrate on her meeting lo. but. haix. dao shi zai shuo ba. i tink i better go take my pillow and cry le. *sob sob*
